She trained in Nottingham and obtained her medical degree in 1988. She has spent 2 years working in Uganda. Her professional interests include women's health and minor surgery. She is married to Hugh, who is a Church of England Minister. They have a young family, two girls and a boy. She enjoys mountain biking, hill walking and playing guitar. Dr Foster usually sees patients on Mondays and Thursdays
