She was brought up and trained in Liverpool, obtaining her medical degree in 2009.  Her professional interests include women's health and sexual health; she has recently started a sexual health clinic.  She is married to David, a primary school teacher and they have two young boys Dr Peters usually sees patients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
